Eurovision Song Contest
Ireland holds the record for the most wins at the Eurovision Song Contest with 7 titles.
Ireland also holds the record for the only country to have won 3-in-a-row.
Ireland's history at the Eurovision Song Contest goes back to 1965 when Butch Moore represented Ireland for the first time.
Irish winners over the years include Dana, Johnny Logan (twice), Linda Martin, Niamh Kavanagh, Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan, and Eimear Quinn. With each win comes the opportunity to host the contest, a challenging task which has fallen to RTÉ seven times.
