The anxious wait for the Leaving Certificate results is over and students in Limerick and Dublin are celebrating.
Hours after receiving their results, celebrations began for Leaving Certificate students in Limerick. There is also a festive mood in Dublin, where students attending a special event at the Bondi Beach Club in Stillorgan let their hair down and party beach style.
The students are delighted with their marks.
I got 410 and I'm proud of myself, couldn’t do any better than that.
Another group of students are pleased to have enough points for the courses they want to pursue.
We're all happy and that’s the main thing.
Owner of Bondi Beach club Maurice Doolin says the event for Leaving Cert students sold out in forty minutes. The venue operates a strict over 18s door policy and being a ticket only event, the crowd is selected in advance,

Leaving Cert results night is renowned for over indulgence but,
The important thing for these tonight was to be in the company of their friends to mark the end of this important chapter in their lives.
