A silent procession through Dublin to remember the victims of the Enniskillen bombing.
An interdenominational procession made up of participants from the north and south of Ireland march and pray in Dublin to commemorate the victims of the Enniskillen bombing in November.
Reverend Cecil Kerr tells RTÉ News why the event was organised,
A group of women here who meet together to pray in Dublin felt for some time that in December there should be a demonstration and a call for a prayer for peace, right here in Dublin.
The procession finishes at Saint Xavier’s Church, Dominick Street, with the celebration of a commemorative Mass for the dead of Enniskillen. In attendance is the Lord Mayor of Dublin Carmencita Hederman, the Garda Commissioner Eamon Doherty, and Conor Cruise O’Brien.
Among the concelebrants are the parish priest of Saint Xavier's, Father Edward Foley, Father Austin Flannery, and Doctor Enda McDonagh of Maynooth.
