On Remembrance Day in 1987 a bomb exploded in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh during the town's Remembrance Sunday ceremony. The bomb was planted by the IRA killing eleven and injuring many more.

A twelfth victim, Ronnie Hill, died after spending thirteen years in a coma.
