The Dooleys perform their latest release on 'The Late Late Show'.

Formed in the late 1960s, The Dooleys were the first British group to perform in the USSR and have toured extensively, playing everywhere from Japan to the Far East. They enjoyed major chart success with ten United Kingdom top 10 hits.

Having clocked up more than a million miles on the road over the past decade, The Dooleys take a break from their hectic touring schedule to perform on 'The Late Late Show'.

Although a British act, the band gained an Irish connection when former Miss Ireland Valerie Roe joined as a singer in 1981. They are now embarking on a three week tour of Ireland and have just released their latest single, 'Flavour of the Month'.

This episode of The Late Late Show was broadcast on 23 May 1986. The presenter is Gay Byrne.
