Middle distance runner John Walker won gold in the 1500m at the Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976.
Ahead of the Morton Mile at Belfield on 11 July, John Walker spoke to RTÉ News about how injuries are placing limits on his warm-up and training.
I've improved a lot as far as fitness goes in the last week and I hope to go a good race tomorrow.
The reigning Olympic 1500m champion went on to win the Morton Mile in Belfield in 3:52.76, leading eight runners under the four-minute barrier.
