‘Seven Days’ attempts to answer some questions about the implications of Irish membership to the EEC. 

This episode of ‘Seven Days’ is devoted to the issue of the referendum on EEC membership to be held in May 1972. Presenter Michael Ryan explains the present EEC arrangements and some of the implications membership would have for Ireland.

The referendum was passed in a vote held on 10 May 1972 and Ireland joined the EEC fully in 1973.
