Bringing in the new year and the start of the Dublin Millennium with a medley of songs associated with the city.

A new year's eve special marks 25 years of 'The Late Late Show' and the eve of Dublin's millennium year celebrations.

At the end of the show guests gather around the piano for a closing musical medley of the best loved Dublin songs.

Guests include Chris de Burgh, Ronnie Drew and The Dubliners, The Black Family, Frank McNamara, Finbar Furey, Eamon Morrissey, Davey Arthury and The Fureys, Kathleen Watkins, Fr Brian D'Arcy, David Norris, Jimmy Magee, amongst others.

Songs performed include 'Dicey Reilly', 'Dublin In The Rare Old Times', 'The Dublin Saunter' and 'Molly Malone'.
