Mario Rosenstock played the doctor in the soap 'Glenroe' and is the man behind the many voices of Gift Grub.
Mario Rosenstock is the actor and comedian behind the numerous impressions that make up 'Gift Grub' on the Breakfast Show on Today FM with Ian Dempsey.
He's also a man of a thousand voices who does Bertie better than Bertie.
He describes how 'Gift Grub' started. One of the first comic slots featured was the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern doing a cookery slot. When Mario Rosenstock later met the Taoiseach he wished him well and admitted to not being able to boil an egg.
Other impressions on his repertoire include Leeds United manager David O'Leary, UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, President of Sinn Féin Gerry Adams, former Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht Michael D Higgins, actor Mel Gibson, and Formula 1 driver Eddie Irvine who performs 'Yeah Yeah’.
