Firemen rescue five office workers from a smoke filled room on the third floor of a building in Dublin city centre.

The fire broke out above Clarks Shoes and Pamela Scotts and spread throughout the buildings causing extensive damage. Five staff members of Firstaff Employment Agency were rushed to hospital suffering from shock and smoke inhalation.

This footage shows the firemen at work attempting to get the fire under control. As sections of the shopping street are closed off, police and fire services attempt to clear onlookers from the area as smoke bellowed from the affected buildings.
