A swimming pool for horses, costing an estimated £40,000 is being built in the Curragh, County Kildare.
Horses can avail of a unique swimming pool in County Kildare for £3 a go, or they can have full board and access to the pool for £40 a week.

The pool is therapeutic for horses as it can help alleviate the pain of sore joints and limbs. Injured horses can be exercised without damage in a pool, where ground runs could be unsafe.
The pool is constructed with an island in the middle of it so trainers can keep can keep an eye on their horsed at swim.
