In their home in south east London Jerry and Dinah O'Dowd talk about their pop star son Boy George.

Jerry (Jeremiah) and Dinah O'Dowd, originally from County Tipperary, recall George's childhood. As a child George showed a talent for art. From a young he created his own personal style, with a love of colour. Before his successful career in the music business George O'Dowd's first job was as a messenger boy.

He wanted to be different right from an early age.
