In 1988 Hothouse Flowers took to the streets of Dublin to promote the release of their new album titled 'People'.

Hothouse Flowers were synonymous with busking and street performance during their early careers and returned to the streets playing on Henry Street, O'Connell Street and Grafton Street in support of their new album. The impromptu event attracted hundreds of people at lunchtime on 19 April 1988. 

RTÉ News followed the group as they busked their way from Henry Street to Grafton Street, with a stopover at Dublin Millennium Radio Studio with Jimmy Greeley.
