A fleet of buses bring children from Killinarden, Tallaght in Dublin to the Mosney leisure centre in Meath.

A special family day organised as part of the annual Sacred Heart Summer Project sees 1,100 parents, children and local members of An Garda Síochána taking a trip from Killinarden in the Dublin suburb of Tallaght, to Mosney leisure centre in County Meath.

The fun trip is organised by 80 volunteers from the Sacred Heart Summer Project. The project is praised for its efforts for local children, and the sense of community it brings to the Killinarden area. The transport for the event is organised by the local gardaí in conjunction with Dublin Bus.

For some of the children making the journey to Mosney, this is their only holiday. The sense of excitement among those boarding the 10 double decker buses is palpable. Adding to the thrill of the occasion, the fleet of buses gets a garda escort on the first leg of the journey to Mosney.
