Dublin Corporation holds an auction of abandoned vehicles.

Under the Road Traffic (Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles) Regulations 1971, Dublin Corporation holds an auction to dispose of a number of abandoned vehicles.

The auction takes place in the vehicle compound at Christchurch Place, Dublin. Prospective buyers were allowed access to inspect the vehicles the day before the auction.

Owners of the abandoned cars were also given the opportunity to come forward and repossess their vehicles prior to the auction on payment of appropriate charges.

The vehicles up for auction include a white Triumph, a grey Austin Cambridge, a blue Hillman Minx, a blue Vauxhall Victor, a white Cortina, and a selection of Volkswagens and Minis.
