Ten days of festivities in the Wicklow seaside town of Bray.
The Bray Summer Festival began on 4 July at the seaside resort and opened with a parade through the town. The festival coincides with the opening of the RTÉ 60 Years of Broadcasting Exhibition at Bray Heritage Centre.
Monday at the festival was all about movement with the Eastern Command Army Gymnastic Team putting on a display along with a drill parade by the Order of Malta. Local supermarket employees gave a dance performance in their own particular style.
Today at the festival, there was a house to house cycle race and the Main Street of Bray was closed off for a street carnival featuring singer and performer Brendan Grace.
Events for the rest of the festival include a sailing regatta, a clay pigeon shoot, and seven-a-side soccer. The festival finishes with an art exhibition.
