'Holliers' presenters Alec Taylor and Angela Phelan introduce the programme from on board an Aer Lingus flight at the Holiday and Leisure Fair at the RDS, Dublin

Exploring new ideas in holiday making.

Most holidaymakers rely on the services of travel agents and tour operators and the holiday fair allows them to find out more about potential destinations. The fair has stands promoting breaks in many different countries including Spain and offers travellers a flavour of what to expect when they arrive at their chosen destination.

Gerry Benson of Easy Travel Limited and Paul Maher of Blue Skies explain how their industry offers expertise and knowledge to advise holidaymakers on the best place to go.

Most of the holiday bookings are made through the ordinary retail travel agent.

They also discuss how to go about establishing a travel agency and becoming a member of the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA).

Paul Maher explains his role as a tour operator which is to set up the package holidays for the travel agents to sell to holidaymakers.

Angela Phelan looks at the options for couples thinking of getting married in Rome and meets Martin Kilroy of Star Travel. Having lived in Rome for ten years he has been best man twenty four times for Irish couples getting married in the city. Star Travel offers a range of packages to couples depending on their requirements and budget.

A woman who got married in Rome describes her experience.
