'Landmark' follows a Dublin family on their first farmhouse holiday to Castlefreke, County Cork.

It's their first farmhouse holiday and already the city seems far away

The Drumey family are staying at O'Donovan's Kilkern House in Castlefreke - a working farm with guest accommodation. This is a budget holiday with a difference for all the family.

John and Eleanor O'Donovan tell reporter Ken Curran about the financial rewards of running a guest house on their farm. Eleanor O'Donovan describes her working day and how her home began to offer holiday accommodation.

Also featured in the report are the Keoghan family from Belfast who are also guests of the O'Donovans. Brendan Keoghan describes the atmosphere on the farm as "free and easy".

This episode of 'Landmark' was broadcast on 18 March 1976. The presenter is Ken Curran.
