An evocation in pictures and music of a summer's day in the Phoenix Park Dublin.

'Pieces of Land' visits the Phoenix Park in Dublin to explore the 1,750 acres walled city park, its buildings, sporting activities, wildlife and the people who spend their leisure time enjoying its amenities.

While there is no commentary in the programme, it does contain scenes from around the park from the dog pond and the Furry Glen to the zoo and is accompanied by music composed by Jim Doherty.
