Louis Walsh discusses the career of Johnny Logan and his role as a manager.

At the age of 28 Louis Walsh appeared on the programme ‘What’s Another Year’ a documentary profiling the career of Johnny Logan following his win for Ireland in the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘What’s Another Year’.

Louis Walsh talks about Johnny’s career since his win at Eurovision and the failure of the single ‘Save Me’ to enter the top 75 in the UK. Louis also talks about the role of management in Johnny’s career and his own future as Johnny’s manager.

Louis later went on to manage Boyzone, The Carter Twins, Westlife, Samantha Mumba, and Jedward amongst others. He has also carved out a television career in the UK as a judge on The X Factor. Louis has also appeared on ‘You’re a Star’, ‘Pop Stars’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
