Marie Kean's one woman show depicts the city of Dublin as described by Irish writers.

The show begins and ends with Joyce's 'Finnegans Wake'. The performance also includes the work of Sean O'Casey, James Plunkett, Percy French, James Stephens, Brendan Behan, and Austin Clarke.

The one-woman show was staged at the Dublin Theatre Festival 1971 and recorded for the Anthology series. This show was recorded in RTE's television Studio 1 and broadcast on 24 March 1971, as part of the 'Anthology' arts documentary series. 

The programme was produced and directed by Louis Lentin.
