Irish writer Frank O'Connor pays tribute to poet WB Yeats at his graveside.

William Butler Yeats died in the south of France in 1939. He was buried there following his death but in 1948 his remains were repatriated to Drumcliffe in county Sligo. In the centenary year of the poet's birth Frank O'Connor describes the beauty and historical importance of Yeats' final resting place. 

Frank O'Connor died on 10 March 1966 and this episode of 'Ceamara na Cruinne' was broadcast on 13 March 1966.
