Riversdale in Rathfarnham, County Dublin was the home of WB Yeats for the final ten years of his life and is the setting for the opening scenes in this piece from the programme. This extract includes a recital of the poem 'Under Ben Bulben'.
Scenes from Sligo show the grave of W.B. Yeats and his epitaph which reads:
Cast a cold Eye
On Life, on Death.
