The Blackchurch Inn in Rathcoole holds a trip back in time night with special guests and pints for two pence.

The Blackchurch Inn in Rathcoole in County Dublin hosts a special trip back in time night for older people in the locality. Plenty of food and drink is laid on and there are celebrity guests such as former Dublin goalkeeper Paddy Cullen and Minister for Defence Paddy Power.

On this particular night the pints only cost two pence, that's 50 pints for the price of one.

Also attendance is somebody who can remember when pints were two pence, 93 year old Mrs Weldon. She gives a special rendition of the 1869 song 'Sweet Genevieve’.

However the star of the show is the Dublin singing priest Father Michael Cleary who keeps his audience highly entertained.

To add to the atmosphere of the night many people wore period costume and the entertainers and celebrities arrived in vintage cars, including a 1910 Daimler.
