On her second day in Ireland Queen Elizabeth visits the Guinness Storehouse at St James's Gate in Dublin.

Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip were given a demonstration of how to pull the perfect pint as they enjoyed panoramic views across Dublin city.

On the visit, the royal couple met people drawn from politics, business, Guinness employees and the local area. Geraldine Richardson, South Inner City Development Association, said that the Queen was very interested in the work they do to address deprivation in the area. Margaret Leahy, Growing Locally, got the impression that the Queen is a very warm person.

Master Brewer Fergal Murray was delighted to get the opportunity to pour a perfect pint for the royal couple and refuted the urban myth that Guinness is made from water from the River Liffey.

Broadcaster Ryan Tubridy was on hand to point out landmarks around Dublin that are visible from the 46 metre high gravity bar.

While neither the Queen nor the Duke of Edinburgh sampled the Guinness, Fr Michael Murnagh was only happy to oblige.
