Olympic skating champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean look forward to performing in Dublin.
Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are in Dublin for eleven dates at the Point Theatre as part of their final touring show.
Jayne Torvill says that the couple still see themselves performing in the future but not on such a grand scale. Christopher Dean says some of their best memories include their gold medal win at the Olympics, their first national championship win and being awarded the MBE.
Not all their memories are good ones. There have been routines that go wrong, falling out of the rink, and wardrobe malfunctions. As performers, they usually cope by carrying on as if nothing has happened.
This is the first time that Torvill and Dean have performed in Dublin and they are looking forward to putting on a show for an Irish audience.
