Rosemary Smith wins the Tulip Rally in the Netherlands driving a Hillman Imp.

Irish rally driver Rosemary Smith and her co-driver Britain's Valerie Domleo were declared the winners of the four day, 2,000 mile Tulip Motor Rally in the Netherlands.

The 25-year old Dubliner and her co-driver were also declared the winners in the Grand Touring Category and the Ladies Cup.

The Tulip Rally finished on 29 April on her return to Ireland Rosemary Smith told RTÉ News about the challenges including bad weather during the race she and her navigator Valerie Domleo overcame to claim victory.
