A protest march in Dublin marks the 25th anniversary of the deployment of British troops in Northern Ireland.

The demonstration was organised by the 'Time for Peace, Time to Go' group which is campaigning for the withdrawal of British troops.

The march was followed by a rally outside the GPO on O'Connell Street with music from The Wolfe Tones.

Sinn Féin leader and deputy leader Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness were amongst those in attendance.

Outside the GPO, artist Robert Ballagh addressed the crowd.

I'm sick and tired with all the lies and assertions being peddled continually by the thought police of Montrose and Middle Abbey Street.
