Dublin Theatre Festival will offer more than fifteen productions at nine venues throughout the capital.

The international line-up includes the forty-five strong cast of the South African production 'Mysteries' as well as the Steppenwolf Theatre Company from Chicago with a production of 'Glengarry Glen Ross'.

Other star attractions include renowned actor Tom Conti making his first Irish stage appearance at the Tivoli Theatre in 'One Helluva life' by William Luce. Speaking to RTÉ News Conti says,

I only like entertaining theatre. I don't like boring academic theatre.

Despite being no stranger to stage on the comedy circuit, Ardal O'Hanlon is also making his theatrical debut since playing an angel in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in a school play. Ardal is appearing in 'See You Next Tuesday', an adaptation of the Francis Veber play 'Le Dîner de Cons' at The Gate Theatre.
