Barry McGuigan heads to the USA to promote his upcoming world title fight in Las Vegas.
World featherweight champion Bary McGuigan and manager, Barney Eastwood, were at Dublin Airport ahead of a ten day, fifteen city tour in Amercia. They were travelling to the USA to promote a world featherweight title fight against Ramon Fernando Sosa at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, on 23 June.
The trip will bring Barry McGuigan to the American boxing public. Although he admits to some nerves, Barry McGuigan welcomes both the challenge and the opportunity to win over a new audience.

Barney Eastwood believes the bout represents a strong financial opportunity for his fighter. For the promotional tour the pair will travel by private jet, courtesy of Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Joining them will be boxers Roberto Durán and Thomas Hearns.
