Ceremonies held in Dublin to mark the anniversary of the Easter Rising.
Organised by the Dublin Brigade of the Old IRA, commemoration events included a wreath laying ceremony at the the GPO by Eilish O'Connell, President of Cumann na mBan. A parade down O'Connell Street was led by the St Brigid's Brass band while Éamonn de Barra read the Proclamation in Irish, after which a band sounded the Last Post.
At Arbour Hill Vincent Byrne of the Dublin Brigade IRA laid a wreath where a decade of the Rosary was led by Rev T. Walsh OP.
