A specially commissioned version of the national anthem was shown at the station's close each evening during Easter week.

The anthem was played alongside portraits of the seven signatories of the proclamation by Seán O'Sullivan RHA. The seven signatories of the Irish proclamation were Thomas J. Clarke, Seán Mac Diarmada, Thomas MacDonagh, Patrick  Pearse, Éamonn Ceannt, James Connolly and Joseph Plunkett.

This special version of 'Amhrán na bhFiann' was broadcast each night from Sunday 10 April to Monday 18 April 1966.
