President launches art event featuring Irish Ballet Company.

The 1975 ROSC art exhibition was held in Cork. First held in Dublin in 1967, the event was designed to be held every four years as a major exhibition of international art. 1975 was the second time it was held in Cork and this time it focused on Irish art from 1900 to 1950.

This RTÉ News footage shows the exhibition at the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery in Cork. Also featured is President Cearbhall Ó Dálaigh and the Lord Mayor of Cork Gus Healy at the official opening of ROSC at the Cork Opera House. The event also featured a performance by the Irish Ballet Company, who performed the one-act ballet 'They Come, They Come', choreographed by Joan Denise Moriarty.
