Imelda May appears on the Late Late Toy Show in 1986. Winners of the young entertainers three years in succession, The Liberties Music and Drama Group, perform a nativity play with some Christmas carols on the Late Late Toy Show in 1986.
Imelda is pictured in the back row on the right holding a yellow lantern.
While Imelda was always involved in music and theatre as a child, and sang with many bands throughout her career, her big break came in 2008 following an appearance on the BBC music programme 'Later... with Jools Holland'. Imelda has now released three studio albums, collaborated with many other artists including Bono, Lou Reed, and the Dubliners, and has toured the world with her band.
