Paul Brady and his band take a new direction with a move from folk to rock.

With a distinguished career on the acoustic folk scene behind him with both The Johnstons and Planxty and as a solo artist, Paul Brady brings his new rock band to Lisdoonvarna to play songs from their recently recorded album 'Hard Station'.

For more than 10 years now, Paul Brady has remained one of Ireland's most important and respected musicians.

Paul Brady has now emerged with some of Ireland's best musicians and superbly crafted songs and performs them live on stage in Lisdoonvarna.

The Lisdoonvarna Festival took place over three days from 10 to 12 July 1981.
