Theatre graduates from Trinity College Dublin stage a production of the Tennessee Williams play 'Camino Real'.

Graduates from the Diploma in Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) stage a production of 'Camino Real' a play by Tennessee Williams at Lombard Street Studios. TCD is the only college in Europe to offer such a course.

The young actors of the future are showing their potential at the Lombard Street studios in Dublin this weekend.

The play tells the surreal story of an American named Kilroy who finds himself in an unnamed town that has influences of Latin America and New Orleans. The town is populated by a strange mix of misfits.

The course at Trinity College is now in its fourth graduating year bringing more and more trained actors to the stage and screen. Nigel Warrington, course coordinator at the Department of Theatre Studies in TCD believes that professional actor training is being more recognised in Ireland and graduates from the course are finding roles in major productions.
