The Young Europeans a new play written and directed by Gerry Stembridge for the NYT.

The National Youth Theatre will perform 'The Young Europeans' at the Project Arts Theatre in Dublin. The production has a cast of 28 chosen from around the country aged between 16 and 22. The play takes the title from an advertisement run by the IDA with the tag line 'the bright young Europeans'. The young actors were encouraged to feed into the plot and to make suggestions for their characters.

It is set off the coast of Kerry on a campsite where groups of people, large groups of peoples have arrived for the August weekend.
