The town clock in Killarney County Kerry has been fixed after forty years.

The town hall in Killarney has been bought by local businessman Eamon Crowley who has spent thousands renovating the building and getting the clock back into working order.

Killarney town hall clock is back in the business of telling the time.

Eamon Crowley said that the clock has not been working properly for several years and most locals have not trusted it to tell the right time for nearly half a century.

Local historian Michael Mulcahy addressed the crowd at the unveiling of the restored working clock commenting on the importance of the town hall to Killarney for over one hundred years.

It has been recording the centuries and the changing Killarney.

The restored clock was unveiled by the Chairman of the Local Urban Council.
