Kevin Foley is an RTÉ Radio 2 DJ for a day.

At the RTÉ Radio Centre Kevin Foley where he is met by Conor McAnally to be briefed on broadcasting before taking to the airwaves.

Today Kevin's dream is to come true. He is to become a disc jockey on RTÉ Radio 2.

Conor McAnally introduces the aspiring DJ to Ronan Collins and "Fab Vinnie" Vincent Hanley who offer some advice to Kevin.  Ronan Collins explains how he prepares for his show with playlists and Vinnie tells Conor how he became a DJ.

Kevin Foley has been interested in becoming a DJ since the launch of RTÉ Radio 2 in 1979.

RTÉ Radio 2 gave me the courage to try to become a disc jockey.

Kevin Foley gets the opportunity to play some records on the Ronan Collins Show from the Radio 2 Roadshow at the RDS.
