A schoolgirl spends a week at RTÉ learning the ins-and-outs of being a television producer.
As part of Youngline's 'Dream Machine', 14 year old Catherine Walsh visits the RTÉ Studios in Donnybrook to become a television producer for a week. The presenters and production team run through the programme schedule for the next edition of 'Youngline' and take some suggestions from Catherine Walsh.
'Youngline' was a once weekly, half-hour magazine show for younger viewers. The first programme was broadcast on Tuesday, 23 November, 1976 and continued until May 1984.
