'Cinemania' has opened next door to the Irish Film Institute hoping cater for those who love film.
'Cinemania' stocks film posters dating back to the 1940s and 1950s, film stills, books, toys, and all kinds of memorabilia. Among the items on sale is the waistcoat worn by Daniel Day-Lewis in his Oscar-winning performance in the film 'My Left Foot'.
Actress Tina Kelleher, musician Ronnie Drew, and comedian Brendan O'Carroll were among the guest at the official opening of the shop.
Cinemania owner Cormac Harrington spoke to RTÉ News about why he decided to open the shop after seeing similar shops in London doing very well.
Ireland's got the highest percentage of film-goers in Europe and there must be... something like that over here.
