If people are that committed to want to fight their way out to an island in February, then they’re genuine fans, it becomes a sort of pilgrimage.
The festival has already sold out, and Father Ted devotees can look forward to Buckaroo speed dating, Hide A Nun And Seek, a debate on what is the best episode, and The Craggy Cup, a 5-a-side football match between Inis Mór and Inis Oirr.
It’s a celebration of something wonderful.
