Playboy Magazine made the centrefold an art and is now the subject of a Dublin exhibition.

The first Playboy centrefold was a naked picture of Marilyn Monroe in 1953, which launched the magazine as a multi-national media success story. Edmund Ping sees the magazine launch as representing a change in attitude in post-war America.
Alongside the revealing pictures, the magazine also showcased cutting edge journalism.
