The campaign against water charges fails to stop Fingal County Council from getting a disconnection order against three householders.
The three householders two from Lusk and one from Skerries were defended in court by the Federation of Anti-Water Charges. However the federation which claims to represent over 20,000 Dublin householders lost the case.
Protesters chanted and carried placards outside Balbriggan courthouse.

Councillor Joe Higgins of the anti water charges campaign says,
We have a ludicrous situation now where on two successive days two judges in districts courts have given exactly opposite rulings on the same law.
