Traditional Irish music group 'Oisín' perform the song 'Lady Le Roy' at the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire. The song featured on the band's album 'Over The Moor To Maggie' released by Tara Records in 1980.

Lady Le Roy is a sea-faring song that tells the story of a battle which takes place in the middle of the sea for the love of a girl. The song is sung by Geraldine McGowan.

This was the first of two broadcasts featuring the band Oisín. The performance was recorded live at the Pavilion Theatre in March 1980 and broadcast over two nights on the programme 'Pavilion Folk' on 7 November 1980 and 2 January 1981.

'Pavilion Folk' was a twelve-part music series featuring Irish folk and traditional music. All the programmes were recorded before an audience at the Pavilion Theatre, Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin. It was first broadcast on 10 October 1980 with a performance from Na Casaidigh.
