The director general of Teilifís Éireann and Radio Éireann visits the Mullaghanish transmission site in County Cork.
The director general of Teilifís Éireann and Radio Éireann Kevin McCourt accompanied by the director of public relations Niall Sheridan and chief engineer in charge of transmitters John O'Keefe visit the station on top of Mullaghanish in the Derrynasaggart Mountains near Ballyvourney, County Cork.
The visitors are welcomed io the control room by the engineer in charge of the television transmitting station Bob Law. They meet some of the Teilifís Éireann technicians at work in the studio and are shown the central control panel.
