The Cork Rock '91 festival ends on a high note with thousands of people attending the Lark by the Lee open air concert.

The fourth Cork Rock event features three nights of gigs in Sir Henry's, culminating with the Lark by the Lee an open air concert at the Lee Fields. The 'Lark by the Lee' has been running since 1985 when U2 gave a memorable surprise performance.

Over 15,000 are in attendance at the Lark by the Lee to see a line-up headlined by the Dublin band Power of Dreams. Also on the bill are the Kim Carroll Band, Belsonic Sound, Ian Richards and the Soul Masters and The Caroline Shout. This report features a performance by Cork band Belsonic Sound.
