A Russian rock group are on the bill for the annual Lark by the Lee.
The Lark by the Lee the annual free open air gig held in the Lee Fields kicks off the summer in Cork.
In the 1990 line up for the Lark featured the bands Princess Street, Zero, Ian Richards and The Soul Masters, Belsonic Sound and An Emotional Fish. A touch of Glasnost is brought to the city with a Russian band Noll flown in by sponsors Aer Rianta.
Among the crowd enjoying the music was Alf McCarthy of Cork local radio.
