You may as well leave them on a glass case on the side of the road, which in one sense is all a parked car really is.
With Christmas shopping in full swing,
You should not use your car as a central storehouse on wheels for your shopping as you go from store to store.
Cases of thefts from cars continue to happen all year round, all over the country. Highlighted incidents come from Dublin, Cork and Killarney in County Kerry. Stolen goods include everyday items such as a typewriter and photographic equipment to more specialist instruments, including a theodolite used in surveying.
It is stressed that thieves can strike at any time, even in small villages. A boutique in Clane, County Kildare was recently broken into, resulting in the theft of blouses and dresses.
