The Sportsman's Show presents a wide range of sporting pursuits at the King's Hall.

The Lord Mayor Sir William Christie and his wife Lady Christie were treated to a display of gymnastics by Belfast schoolgirls on their visit to the Sportsman's Show.

Throughout this week visitors to the show will have a chance to participate in demonstrations of other sports like fencing, archery, judo and golf.

Yachts and racing cars share the exhibition floor at the King's Hall. However, many visitors appeared to be more enthusiastic about the toy model racing cars at the Scalextric Grand Prix stand than the real racing and rally cars on display at the show.

All the major sports were represented at the show including the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) alongside rugby and soccer.
